THE ICON is hosting a free series of digital imaging classes in our customer service lounge. Our Digital Image Workflow classes will be taught by Lee Varis, The Icon's Digital Guru. For the month of September, only one class will be offered on Wednesday, September 16.

Exporting, Print and Web Modules in Lightroom
Get your images out of the catalog and into the world:
• Exporting to various image formats
• Saving presets
• Setting up for printing
• Contact sheets and Jpeg "print" files
• Web Gallery options
• 3rd party Plug-ins for Lightroom
The basic idea is to set up your working methods in the most efficient way for consistent results and to establish an image archive that is flexible and expandable without working yourself into a corner. Each of the 4 classes will cover the same material with enough time for a question and answer session at the end to address specific needs of individual photographers.
ABOUT LEE VARIS
Lee Varis a Hollywood photo-illustrator, has been involved in commercial photography for three decades. His images have been featured in National Geographic, Newsweek, and Fortune magazines, and both his writing and photography have been featured in trade journals such as PDN, New Media, and others. His pictures have appeared on movie posters, video box covers, and CD covers, and in numerous brochures and catalogues. He has been a seminar instructor with APA, PPA, Julia Dean Photographic Workshops, and Apple Computer.
